Novartis (Bangladesh Limited Celebrates 10 Years of Success
and Achievements
Dhaka,
February 27, 2007 -
900
Associates of Novartis (Bangladesh) Limited, across all
functions and Divisions, united in one language and value
and feel as ‘one company,’ irrespective of function and
Division to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary on 27th February,
2007.
The Event was a day
long affair in 12 different venues from every corner of the
country where almost 3000 people (Associates and families)
celebrated the day. The celebration were divided in two
parts – the first part was focused on past glory and future
directives. And the second part was focused on strengthening
connection, giving each and every member of the company and
their family a sense of belonging.
Novartis Day was designed
around the theme of “Caring and Curing” to reaffirm the
Novartis brand, strengthening Associates’ sense of belonging
and pride towards the company, to enhance the perception of
heritage, to further promote our values and aspirations and
to celebrate our first decade as Novartis and give messages
based on which the Associates can build their and the
company’s future.
The Country President,
Mr. Ashfaque ur Rahman, in his speech emphasized on our
reputation and said, |
|
“The reputation that we
have built in the last 10 years has been built on our
values, decisions, actions, performance and it is rudimental
to further strengthen this growth and become the most
successful pharmaceutical company in the country.” |
|
Associates dressed in
Novartis t-shirts, congregated at the various picturesque
locations in 12 different venues. We had a message from
Dr. Daniel Vasella, a video message from our previous
country head Mr. Doege followed by a future looking
speech by the Country President, Mr. Ashfaque ur Rahman. We
also truly honored our roots by having among us the ex
Associates ranging from 25- 30 years to 10 years of service.
The main idea was to understand the foundation of our unity
and strength and to credit those who helped build it.
Following this the
newer members cut an enormous 50 pounds cake shaped in the
likes of our 10 year logo, and along with this cake
Associates were presented with souvenirs. The rest of the
day was celebrated with fun and games, distributing Novartis
colored balloons. Our theme song penned down, composed and
sung by our Associates was played throughout the day. The
day ended with a musical program by renowned Bangladeshi
artists – Shubro Dev and Konok Chapa and Associates danced
and sang to the popular tunes of the singers. At the end all
went home happy, satisfied, with unified message and
aspiration.
