Anafranil® (Clomipramine hydrochloride)

Trycyclic Antidepressant. Used for depression of varying aetiology and symptomology; obsessive compulsive syndromes; phobias and panic attacks; cataplexy accompanying narcolepsy; chronic painful conditions and nocturnal enuresis.

- Available in 25mg tablets

Aclasta® (Zolehronic acid)

Anti-resorptive drug. Indicated for the treatment of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis, Male Osteoporosis & Paget’s disease. Taken once annually and can increases the bone density in the Spine & Hip. It has been proved through large clinical trials that it significantly reduces fracture risk of fracture prone key sites.

- Available in 5mg 10ml IV Infusion

Cataflam® (Diclofenac potassium)

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Used for short term treatment of acute dental pain.

- Available in 25mg and 50 mg tablets

Famvir® (Famciclovir)

Oral antiviral agent. Used for the treatment of acute herpes zoster, including ophthalmic zoster and to decrease the duration of association of association post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN). It is also used for the treatment of genital herpes and to suppress reoccurrences of genital herpes. It is indicated in immunocompromised patients with herpes zoster or herpes simplex infections.

- Available in 125mg and 250mg tablets

Femara® (Letrozole)

Nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor (inhibitor of oestrogen biosynthesis); antineoplastic agent. Used as an extended adjuvant treatment of early breast cancer in postmenopausal women who have received prior standard adjuvant tamoxifen therapy, first line treatment in postmenstrual women with hormone-dependent advanced breast cancer, treatment of advanced breast cancer in women with natural or artificially induced postmenopausal status, who have previously been treated with anti oestrogen and as preoperative therapy in postmenopausal women with localized hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, to allow subsequent breast conserving surgery in women not originally considered candidates for this type of surgery.

- Available in 2.5mg tablets

CoartemTM (Artemether and Lumefantrine)

Blood schizontocide agent. Used for stand-by emergency treatment of malaria, for the treatment of malaria in multi-drug-resistant areas and non immune patients; for the treatment of drug-sensitive parasites.

- Available in 20/120mg tablets (pack size 3 X 8 and 2 X 8)

Co-Diovan® (Valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide)

Antihypertensive agent. Used for the treatment of hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy. These fixed dose combinations should be used as second-line therapy for both Stage 1 and Stage 2 hypertension.

- Available in 80/12.5mg and 160/25mg tablets

Comtan® (Entacapone)

Catechol-O-methyl transferase inhibitor. Used as adjunct to levodopa/benserazide or levodopa/carbidopa treatment in patients with Parkinson’s Disease and end-of-dose motor fluctuations, who cannot be stabilized on those combinations.

- Available in 200mg tablets

Diovan® (Valsartan)

Antihypertensive agent. Used for the treatment of hypertension and indicated to improve survival following myocardial infarction in clinically stable patients with signs, symptoms or radiological evidence of left ventricular failure and/or with left ventricular systolic dysfunction.

- Available in 40mg, 80gm and 160mg tablets

Elidel® (Pimecrolimus)

Nonsteroidal anti inflammatory dermatological cream for cutaneous use. Used for the short term treatment and long term management of the signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis (eczema) in infants, children, adolescents and adults.

- Available in 15g cream

Efomoline® (Flouromehtolone and Tetrahydrozoline HCl) E/D

Anti-inflammatory and decongestant combination. Used for acute allergic non-infectious conjunctivitis and keratitis, non-infectious inflammation of the anterior segment of the eye and postoperative inflammation following squint, cataract and glaucoma operations.

- Available in 5mL dropper bottles

Exelon® (Rivastigmine)

Brain-selective cholinesterase inhibitor. Used for the treatment of patients with mild to moderately severe dementia of the Alzheimer type.

- Available in 1.5mg, 3mg, 4.5mg and 6mg capsules

Glivec® (Imatinib mesylate)

Protein-tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Used for the treatment of patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), as well as for the treatment of patients with CML in blast crisis, accelerated phase, or in chronic phase after failure of interferon-alpha therapy and it is used for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable and/or metastatic malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST).

- Available in 100mg capsules

HypoTears® Gel (Vitamin A palmitate and Carbomer 980)

Eye gel, Artificial tears. Used as a substitute of tear fluid in the management of dry eye conditions including Kerato-conjunctivitis sicca (as a tear fluid substitute in case of unstable tear film or insufficient moisture of the eye surface).

- Available in 10g tube

HypoTears® Plus (Polyvidone and electrolytes) E/D

Eye drops, Lubricant/Moisturiser. Used for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye conditions including Kerato-conjunctivitis sicca and for unstable tear film or insufficient moisture of cornea.

- Available in 10mL dropper bottles

Lescol®, Lescol® XL (Fluvastatin sodium)

HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. Used as an adjacent to diet for the reduction of elevated total cholesterol (total-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), apolipoprotein B (apo-B) and triglyceride (TG) levels and for the increase of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in patients with primary hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia (Fredrickson Type IIa and IIb). It is also used to slow progression of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with primary hypercholesterolaemia, including mild forms and coronary heart disease.

- Available in 20mg and 40mg capsules (Lescol®)
and 80mg capsules (Lescol® XL)

Infectoflam® (Fluorometholone and Gentamicin)

Corticosteroid and antibiotic combination. Used for the treatment and prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions of the anterior segment of the eye, such as postoperative inflammation following eye surgery, where corticosteroid treatment is required and there is an increased risk or evidence of bacterial infection.

- Available in 5mL dropper bottle (eye drops) and 4g tube (eye ointment)

Lioresal® (Baclofen)

Antispastic agent. Used for skeletal muscle spasticity of spinal and cerebral origin. It is the only available spasticity specific drug offering 80% efficiency with proven tolerability profile in all age groups, even to children of 2 years of age.

- Available in 10mg and 25mg tablets

Ludiomil® (Maprotiline hydrochloride)

Tetracyclic antidepressant. Used for the treatment of depression of varying aetilogy and symptomatology; related mood disorders.

- Available in 25mg tablets

Miacalcic® ampoules/nasal sprey(Synthetic salmon calcitonin)

Regulator of calcium homeostasis. Ampoules are used in the case of osteoporosis, bone pain, Paget’s disease of bone, hypercalcaemia, neurodystrophic disorders and adjuvant therapy of acute pancreatitis. The nasal spray is used for postmenopausal osteoporosis, bone pain, Paget’s disease of bone and neurodystrophic disorders.

- Available in 1ml ampoule and 20mg nasal spray

Myfortic® (Mycophenonate Sodium)

Immunosuppressant. Used for prophylaxis of acute transplant rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal transplant in combination with ciclosporin for microemulsion and corticosteoids.

- Available in 180mg and 360mg tablets

Naclof® (Diclofenac sodium) E/D

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. Used for post operative inflammation in cataract surgery and other surgical interventions, relief in pain and photophobia, post traumatic inflammation in non-penetrating wounds, inhibition of miosis during cataract surgery and prevention of cystoid macular oedema after cataract extraction with lens implantation.

- Available in 5mL dropper bottles

Nyolol®Gel (Timolol maleate)

Beta blocking agent. Used to reduce intraocular pressure in case of ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma.

- Available in 5g dropper bottles

Oculsan® (Zinc sulphate and Naphazoline Nitrate) E/D

Astringent and Vasoconstrictor combination. Used to treat acute and chronic noninfectious conjunctivitis, conjunctival irritation and for rinsing of lacrimal canal.

- Available in 10mL

Okacin® (Lomefloxacin) E/D

Anti-infective. Used for the treatment of bacterial infections, including acute bacterial conjunctivitis, blephartitis and blepharo-conjunctivitis, which are due to lomefloxacin susceptible germs.

- Available in 5mL dropper bottles

Sandimmun Neoral® (Ciclosporin)

Immunosuppressant. Used after solid organ transplantation (Kidney, liver, heart, combined heart-lung, lung, pancreas); bone marrow transplantation; endogenous uveitis; nephrotic syndrome; severe, acute rheumatoid arthritis; severe psoriasis; severe atopic dermatitis.

- Available in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg capsules

Sebivo® (Telbivudine)

Indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B in adult patients with evidence of viral replication and either evidence of persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases (ALT or AST) or histologically active disease. Indication is based on virologic, serologic, biochemical and histologic responses after one year of treatment in nucleoside-treatment-naïve adult patients with HBeAg-positive and HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B with compensated liver disease.

- Available in 600mg tablets

Sicorten®, Sicorten® Plus (alometasone)

Topical corticosteroid. Used against non-infected corticosteroid-responsive inflammatory skin diseases, e.g. eczema, psoriasis.

- Available in 5g cream and ointment

Sirdalud® (Trizanidine hydrochloride)

Skeletal muscle relaxant. Used in case of painful muscle spasm bought about by static and functional disorders of the spine and following surgery, e.g. for herniated inter vertebral disc or osteoarthritis of the hip.

- Available in 2mg tablets

Spersadex comp.® (Chloramphenicol and Dexamethasone) E/D

Antibiotic and Anti-inflammatory combination. Used for cute or chronic keratitis and conjunctivitis of an infectious, allergic and non-viral nature, inflammations of the anterior Uvea, Scleritis, Episcleritis, Miositis, Sympathetic Ophthalmia and post operative management of cataract, glaucoma and strabismus.

- Available in 5mL dropper bottles

Spersallerg® (Antazoline and Tetryzoline) E/D

Anti-allergic. Used for non infectious conjunctivitis, acute allergic conjunctivitis including hay fever vernal Conjunctivitis.

- Available in 10mL dropper bottles

Starlix® (Nateglinide)

Oral blood glucose lowering agent. Used for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, NIDDM) whose hyperglycaemic condition cannot be controlled by diet and physical exercise. Cannot be used as monotherapy or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents with a complementary mode of action, such as metformin.

- Available in 120mg tablet

Tegretol®, (Carbamazepine)

Antiepileptic, neurotropic and psychotropic agent. Used for epilepsy (except absences and myoclonic seizures), acute mania; maintenance treatment of bipolar affective disorders to prevent or attenuate recurrence, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, trigeminal neuralgia, idiopathic glossopharyngeal neuralgia, diabetic neuropathy and for diabetes insipidus centralis.

- Available in Tegretol® 200mg,Tegretol® CR 200mg tablets and Tegretol® 100ml syrup

Trileptal® (Oxcarbazepine)

Antiepileptic agent. Used for partial epileptic seizures or generalized tonic-clonic seizures as a first line medicinal product for use as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy, can also replace other antiepileptic medicinal product when current therapy provides insufficient seizure control.

- Available in 300mg and 600mg tablets

Tofranil® (Imipramine hydrochloride)

Tricyclic antidepressant. Used for all forms of depression, panic attacks, chronic painful conditions, Pavor nocturnes and Nocturnal Enuresis.

- Available in 25mg tablets

Visudyne® (Vetreporfin for ijection)

Light activated drug used in Photodynamic Therapy (PDT). Used for the treatment of patients with predominantly classic subfoveal choroidal neovascularization due to age related macular degeneration (AMD), pathologic myopia or presumed ocular histoplasmosis.

- Available in 15mg powder for I/V injections

Voltalin® EC, SR, Amp, Suppo. (Diclofenac sodium)
Voltalin® D (Diclofenac free acid)


Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Used for inflammatory and degenerative form of rheumatism, painful syndromes of the vertebral column, non articulate rheumatism, acute attacks of gout, post traumatic and post operative pain, inflammation and swelling, post operative pain in a hospital setting, painful and/or inflammatory conditions in gynecology, adjuvant in severe painful inflammatory infections of the ear or nose or throat, migraine attacks, renal colic and biliary colic and flare-up of osteoarthritis.

- Available in Voltalin® 25mg EC tablets, Voltalin® 75mg/3ml ampoule, Voltalin® D 46.5mg tablets, Voltalin® SR 75mg and 100mg tablets and Voltalin® 12.5mg and 50mg Suppository

Zelmac® (Tegaserod)

Used for the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Use for abdominal pain and discomfort, bloating, and altered bowel function in patients with IBS, whose main syndromes are pain/discomfort and chronic constipation.

- Available in 6mg tablets

Zometa® (Zoledronic acid)

Used to prevent skeletal-related events in patients with advanced malignancies involving bone and as a treatment for hypercalcaemia of malignancy (HCM).
